Moreover, we specialise in slimline stairlifts for narrow stairs or limited hallways, meaning that we can install stairlifts on awkward and narrow staircases. Plus, we also have a range of heavy-duty stairlifts available which cater to clients weighing up to 25 stone.
For properties where space is at a premium, or where there is a doorway immediately at the bottom of the stairs, we have an excellent range of stairlifts with a folding hinge track, whereby the lower section of the rail folds neatly out of the way when not required, leaving the hallway completely unimpeded. These folding rail systems are automatic and therefore require no further input from the user.
At our company, we understand how frustrating it can be when you need extra assistance to move around your home. But with our innovative swivel seat stairlifts, you can easily rotate the seat to allow safe access and egress on and off the stairlift at the top of your stairs. Furthermore, many of our stairlifts are available with an automatic power swivel seat, which automatically rotates you around to face the landing – a great help even when just carrying a handbag or some washing on your lap!
All our straight stairlifts come with remote controls, allowing you to effortlessly move the stairlift to the top or bottom of your stairs. These are wireless and can be kept on a dresser or in a drawer. Or if you would prefer to keep the remote control in one place, you can mount it onto the wall. At Alfix, we always include for the electrical charging supply, and our engineers ensure that any cabling is from your preferred choice of outlet and kept as discreet as possible.
